The whimsical pen & ink style of Sue Armbruster is the perfect medium to capture the colorful cottages of St. Augustine, sparkling like gems along the brick-lined back streets of the nation’s Oldest City.

Her vibrant watercolor washes have preserved many of these graceful homes and Bed & Breakfast Inns, which remind her of the fading spiritual life attached to these treasured keepsakes of history.

“In a search for a quaint town on the water, only St. Augustine met all of my requirements,” Sue says. “As an artist, I am home…”  She lives on Anastasia Island with husband Thom and their three poodles.
