Burt Bestler

Watercolor Painter, St. Augustine, FL

Burt’s love affair with the soft realism of watercolors began in 1976, when a northern Illinois snowstorm caused him to switch from an adult evening class in oil painting to one in watercolor offered closer to home. Two years later in 1978, he was not only exhibiting and teaching in the medium, but was demonstrating for various art groups and societies.

 Burt now splits his time between St. Augustine, Florida and his childhood town of Wheaton, Illinois.
