Buddi, the delightful surprise for many Mullet Beach Gallery visitors, is a very sweet, adoring Rescue Pug who loves to say hello in return for a gentle back-scratch.
He was born into a puppy mill in Upstate New York and was kept in a concrete run without toys or any training until he came into the loving care of Ronnie Zappala and her family’s Pug Rescue of Central New York. Buddi was adopted at age 4 by gallery-owner Aimée Wiles in 2004. They now live at the beach in St. Augustine, FL.
Buddi loves to go to work, play with his mom and kitty Tabi and get a daily treat at the nearby organic doggie bakery. He often gets Pug visitors who stop by to sniff and play. He enjoys educating people about his breed.
